ABOUT TOMMIE
My name is Tommie Michele Rivituso, and I’m a young adult author from Gilbert, AZ. A Christ-follower whose primary pursuits are Jesus, coffee, and books, I’ve loved writing since I was a kid, and I began my first full-length project (an early, early phase of Drafted) during quarantine—I’ve become obsessed with writing since.
Ted Dekker, my favorite author, once said that writing is the purest form of escapism, and I agree wholeheartedly. It’s an experience unlike any other. It's a little piece of your soul that you can share with other people, but more than that, it's a journey of discovery. In my writing, I love to delve into and explore Biblical themes and to honor God through the stories I tell. I write for the YA reader who seeks stories that are adventurous and fast-paced with flawed, developed characters, but also clean and centered around God-honoring themes.
