Ready to take your story to the next level?
Content editing may be the next step for you. This type of editing takes a deeper look at your story as a whole, focusing on elements like character development, plot and structure, pacing, point-of-view, audience awareness, and more. Content editing is all about refining not only your story, but also your craft - and giving you skills you'll be able to use for the rest of your journey as a writer.
If you've taken your project as far as you can on your own and have an open mind to dive into what makes it tick, identify strengths and areas of improvement, and figure out what creative choices will best fit your story's purpose, read on to decide what kind of content editing may be best for you - and if I may be the right fit for your story.
About Me
My name is Tommie Michele Rivituso, but you may know me better as just Tommie Michele, young adult author. I've published two YA dystopian novels through Descendant Publishing, spent years studying the craft of fiction, and spend my free time dissecting my favorite novels (the longer and more complex, the better) to figure out what makes them work - when I'm not scheming for my own epic fantasy work-in-progress, that is. I specialize in speculative fiction, particularly dystopian and fantasy, along with Young Adult - especially stories written from a Christian worldview. I do not read stories that contain explicit romantic content (i.e. no "spice" or "open-door"). Other than that, I'm willing to dive into almost anything. If you have any questions or want to chat further to determine if I'm a fit for your story, please reach out via my contact section (at the bottom of this page)!
